The Role

The Role
  • Handle product sourcing, development and evaluation
  • Liaise with suppliers to monitor the production process
  • Track purchase orders
  • Manage quotations, price analysis  and price negotiations between buyer and supplier
  • Conduct factory inspections and ensure quality of product
  • Ensure on time shipment after production
  • Ensure a smooth order process and pro-actively identify/ resolve operational issues as and when they arise
  • Conduct market research and share findings with the team

Your Profile

Your Profile
  • Degree in Business Administration / Food Science or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years merchandising experience  in the Food industry for European markets
  • Experience in EU regulations and standards is a must
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Strong project management skills and detail oriented mind-set
  • Must be self motivated, self organised, responsible, hard working & independent
  • Good negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Chinese
  • PC knowledge is essential
  • Travel required
